When are the best rates available for TPM 2020?


  • Early Bird rates expire on 4 October 2019 or until all passes have been sold, whichever comes first.

  • Advanced rates expire on 15 November 2019, or until all passes are sold, whichever comes first.

  • Standard Rates will apply from 15 November 2019 through 4 March 2020.


Note: Onsite registration prices may be higher – please register online prior to the event for the best rates.

What is included in the TPM 2020 Conference Attendee Fee?
Headed into its 20th year, TPM continues to be the must-attend conference for the trans-Pacific and global container shipping and logistics community. Every year, JOC Group continues to add value to the conference including more networking opportunities, additional conference tracks, more speakers, etc. In March 2020, TPM will be a comprehensive FOUR DAY event which will include:

  • • Three Evening Networking Receptions – Sunday, 1 March, Monday, 2 March, and Tuesday, 3 March 2020

  • • Two Networking Lunches and Five Coffee Breaks

  • • Extended General Session Conference Program: One on one talks with industry leaders, in

  •   depth panel discussions

  • • 12 overall new conference tracks

  • • Pre-Conference Orientation for new and returning attendees

  • • A Golf Tournament – Sunday, 1 March 2020 (for an additional fee)

  • • The TPM Challenge Cup Regatta – Sunday, 1 March 2020 (limited places available)

I’m a BCO / Shipper, do I qualify for a preferred rate?
Yes! Discounts are available to BCO/Shipper attendees. If you are the owner of the goods that are being transported, then you are considered a Beneficial Cargo Owner or Shipper. If you still have questions regarding this, please do not hesitate to contact us on Events Help Desk and one of the JOC Events team will get back to you shortly.



I’m a JOC Member, do I get a discount?
If you are an existing JOC Member you are eligible for discounted pricing on the Full Conference Pass at TPM 2020. In order to obtain your discount code, please contact the Events Help Desk. We will check your membership status before approving your TPM registration. Your JOC Membership needs to be active through the TPM 2020 conference dates in order to qualify for the discount. Only existing JOC members are eligible to use the code upon registration. If you are not a JOC member and do use the code, you will be contacted to pay the difference.



I want to become a JOC Member to get a discount, how can I do this?
As of 3 December 2013, all JOC Memberships are sold on a corporate basis and a minimum of 5 people per company is required. For more information about Group Memberships, please go to our Group Subscriptions Page and complete the form.



Do you have any special offers available for The Journal of Commerce Magazine or JOC.com subscribers?
Discounts are only available to JOC Members as part of an existing individual membership or a corporate membership. The Journal of Commerce magazine subscribers and JOC.com subscribers do not qualify for a discount at TPM 2020, unless you are accessing these products as part of an existing JOC Membership.



I don’t see one day passes available for the event. Can I still register for a one day pass?
We do not offer one-day conferences passes. To get the best value pass, sign up for the early bird full conference passes – available until 4 October 2019 (or until they run out).



Are there any discounts for sending multiple people?
If you are a sponsor for TPM 2020, discounts to send multiple people are available in sponsorship packages. We do not offer discounts on attendee fees. If you would like to sponsor TPM 2020, contact Tony Stein at tony.stein@ihsmarkit.com.



I cannot pay by credit card. How else can I register?
The quickest way to receive a confirmed registration is to register online and pay by credit card. If it is impossible for you to do so, please contact the Events Help Desk to find out information on alternative payment options.



Can I buy my attendee pass on-site in Long Beach?
Yes you can, but in order to avoid lines and a higher price at registration, we recommend that you purchase your pass prior to Sunday, 1 March 2020.



What happens if I need to cancel my TPM 2020 registration?
Please contact our Events Help Desk for more information.


  • ALL refunds will be subject to a $200 processing fee.

  • Refund requests will be honored if received in writing by 31 January 2020.

  • Cancellations received after 31 January 2020 and ‘no shows’ are subject to the full registration fee.

  • Substitutions may be made by notifying the JOC Events team in writing to the Events Help Desk.
